If you’re ready to better understand yourself, why you struggle with certain aspects of parenting, and what your child needs from you to set them on their way to a secure attachment, this is the program for you.

The Circle of Security Parenting Program is so popular the world over because it has a transformative, life-long impact on the parents who take it. Once you start noticing where you and your child are on the circle, you won’t be able to stop.

This program runs every Wednesday from 7:30 to 9pm Eastern Standard Time, starting on May 7, 2025. We will meet on zoom to work through the program together, discussing the content and reflecting on how it shows up for us in our parenting. You will be provided with example videos and worksheets to supplement the course content, and Ruth is there to help facilitate your learning and reflection.

Due to the nature of this program, it is not allowed to record the sessions. It’s important that you are able to attend each week, as the information builds on what was learnt in the previous week. The meetings are as follows:

May 7: What ‘Circle of Security’ means and what our children need from us

May 14: How our children communicate their needs through their behaviour

May 21: Showing up for our children and helping them organize their feelings

May 28: Reading the cues our infants and children are giving us

June 4: When our children ‘miscue’ and learning how to identify the areas we feel uncomfortable meeting our child’s needs

June 11: Reflecting on the areas we struggle and how they can shape our child’s attachment behaviours

June 18: Rupture... and repair. What does our child need from us when we mess up?

June 25: Summary of everything we’ve learnt and a celebration of how far we’ve come!
